51 One of those who was with Jesus reached for his sword and pulled it out. He struck the high priest's servant, cutting off his ear.52 But Jesus told him, “Put your sword away. Everyone who fights with the sword will die by the sword.53 Don't you think I could ask my Father, and he'd immediately send more than twelve legions of angels?54 But then how could the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must be like this?”
